SBA Manufacturing Roundtable

The Ohio SBDC at Youngstown State University had the privilege of organizing and hosting an SBA Manufacturing Roundtable focused on “Made in America” initiatives, bringing together local manufacturers, business leaders, and SBA representatives for an important conversation about the future of American manufacturing.

We were honored to welcome the SBA Regional Administrator Everett M. Woodel, Jr., SBA Regional Advocate Andrew Coffield, SBA Ohio District Director Terry A. Bolden, and SBA Lender Relations Specialist Thomas Sangrik to hear directly from Mahoning Valley businesses about what’s working, where opportunities lie, and the real challenges they face every day in building strong supply chains and communities.

We are grateful to all the small businesses who participated, including:

  • Humtown Products
  • Hitch-Hiker Manufacturing
  • SunWize Power & Battery, LLC
  • Ohio Custom Dies
  • Sweet Memories Vintage Tees & Candy
  • Ohio Wood Burner Ltd
  • Pantheon Innovative Builders
  • Ashore Manufacturing Group
  • Enertech Electrical, Inc.
  • Gasser Chair
  • Intense Fabrication & Design

This event reflects what makes our region strong: collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to creating a more resilient manufacturing ecosystem. Together, we are helping small businesses grow, compete, and lead the way in “Made in America.” A special thank you to Humtown Products and Hitch-Hiker Manufacturing for their hospitality and facility tour, and for sharing their inspiring story.
