Haltec Corporation wins U.S. SBA 2024 Great Lakes Region Exporter of the Year Award

Join us in congratulating Haltec Corporation, who won the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2024 Great Lakes Region Exporter of the Year Award. The SBA Great Lakes Region consists of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

For over 50 years, Haltec Corporation, headquartered in Leetonia, Ohio, has been the leader in the tire valve industry. Exporting has been an integral part of Haltec’s business, reaching over 50 different countries around the world.

Haltec has utilized different state and federal programs to help expand internationally. In 2016, they became a client of the SBDC Export Assistance Network at YSU. They have participated in Ohio Department of Development’s Ohio Export Internship Program and International Market Support Program. In addition, they have utilized SBA STEP funds through Ohio’s International Market Access Grant for Exporters (IMAGE).
